The F Ferrari precision transplanting machine was designed to transplant lettuce and other vegetables in cubic shaped compressed sods from 2.5 to 5 cm.
Its main characteristic is the precision with which it transplants between existing plants.
Each element is independent from the others so the machine can work properly also on the most disconnected and stony kind of soil.
Its working capacity per hour and per element is 2,000 plants per row with an operator feeding each row.
This machine has proved to be particularly suitable to work on raised beds, in this case it will be equipped with adjustable rear wheels.
Also a self-propelled version is available with the same operative characteristics as those illustrated for the hauled version. Transplanting depth can be adjusted up till 8 cm.
